Being part of the student community in UNO-R is a great privilege because there are various opportunities which one may excel. The CIT family, being the one who guides future programmers and designers towards reaching their dreams, aim to give their students quality education. Programs in the CIT have been provided to equip the students of their needs for the future. In the college, students are enrolled on CISCO academy, a networking subject which lead students to know better about advancing technologies that well known companies use. Also the students learn about SAP(System Application and Production) technology which aids big time companies with their business needs.
Hardware and Software subjects are also integrated in the curriculum to enable students with the capabilities to be flexible in any work given. Java Programming language has been used in the college to meet the demands of the industry. MySQL is also used in teaching the students on how to manage databases. It trains students on how to simulate a working database and equip them with the knowledge on how to become a well system analyst in the future.
The CIT does not only let the students study all their time, instead they also conduct IT days and Multimedia week not only for fun, but to test the capabilities of students and apply what they have learned. Students in CIT are also encouraged to be sporty because engaging in sports is a way for one to be fit and loosens up a stressed out mind. Being in the CIT for quite some time has made me realize that what I have chosen is really something that fits me right. Fides Quaerens Intellectum.
